AFTER ORLANDO is an international theatre action curated by Missing Bolts Productions and NoPassport Theatre Alliance & Press (Caridad Svich, founder) comprised of over 70 plays written in response to the tragic shooting at Pulse Nightclub, June 12, 2016.

Click here for the growing list of playwrights participating in the action.

Readings will be held internationally from September 12 - December 31, 2016

In light of these recent tragic events, and a growing devastating history of gun violence in the United States and worldwide, we are asking select theatremakers to join us in this project, driven by the ability of theatre to bring together distinct and powerful voices.

Inspired by NoPassport's GUN CONTROL THEATRE ACTION (read and performed across the United States and internationally) and the published collection 24 GUN CONTROL PLAYS (NoPassport Press/Santa Catilina Editions) and Headlong Theatre's DECADE, we ask for your voices to respond in the way that is truest to you.  We are interested in perspectives from both the United States and internationally.

A reading of the plays will be performed in the fall of 2016 in New York or Washington, DC (date/location TBA) post submissions; specific rights, permissions and subsequent dissemination of work will be communicated after the selection of plays. No plays will be performed without full written consent of the author and/or their representation).

Plays will subsequently be published in a volume by NoPassport Press (per author approval).
